A scaffold scope should fit the work
Two buildings of similar height can need very different scaffolding. A clear driveway and level ground give the job one set of constraints. Tight side access, a boundary wall, an exposed roof edge, an internal void or a footpath beside the work face create another.

Scaffold hire, installation and dismantling
“Hire” can describe two quite different arrangements. One is equipment hire, where the agreement sets out what the hirer receives and which responsibilities remain with them. The other is an installed service covering the scaffold supply, erection, hire period, alterations and dismantling.
The scaffold hire service explains that distinction and the details worth confirming before comparing quotes. The cheapest weekly rate is not necessarily the lowest complete cost if delivery, erection, changes or removal sit outside the figure.
Australian regulator guidance also sets a high-risk-work boundary for scaffolding. Erecting, altering or dismantling a scaffold from which a person or object could fall more than four metres requires the appropriate high-risk work licence. The project and state determine the requirements that apply.
